Divisons

Registration is avaiable in the following programs;

Steve Nash Youth Basketball Progarm:
Introductory basketball program for children ages 6-8 just starting out in the game. More on the Steave Nash Program.

U10 Girls & Boys:
The Junior Mini division is open to 8 and 9 years olds and consists of 1-2 practices per week and 1 game on the weekend. Tournaments and exhibition games will also take place. The focus is on skill development and having fun! Game play will be 4 on 4 with no scorekeeping to to emphasize the development. Games are monitored with 4 minute, equal play shifts to ensure that equal playing time is maintained
To be eligiable to play in Under 10 Developmental, a player must not have reached the age of 10 prior to January 1st of the current season

U12 Boys & Girls:
The Mini division is open to 10 and 11 year olds and consists of 1-2 practices per week and 1 game on the weekend. Tournament and exhibition games will also take place. The focus is skill and game development. Games are monitored with 4 minute, equal play shifts to ensure that equal playing time is maintained.
To be eligiable to play in Under 12, a player must not have reached the age of 12 prior to January 1st of the current season.

U14 Boys & Girls:
The Bantam division is open to 12 and 13 years old and consists of 2-3 practices per week and 1 game on the weekend. Tournaments and exhibition games will also take place. The focus is increased skill and game development. Games are monitored with 4 minute, equal play shifts from division 3 and below to ensure that equal playing time is mintained.
To be eligiable to play in Under 14, a player must have reached the age of 14 prior to October 1st of the current season.

U16/ U18 Boys & Midget/Juvenile Girls: U16:
The Midget division is open to players between the ages of 14-17 (incorporates Juvenile division) and consists of 2-3 practices per week and games. Tournament and exhibition games will also take place. The focus is a combination of increased skill and game development while also providing a recreational avenue for those who want to continue with the sport after high school. Every effort will be made, where registration permits, to create teams according to these two areas of focus.
*Note: U16/ U18 Girls will be a combined team while the U16 and U18 Boys will compete separtely.
To be eligible to play in Under 16/18, a player must not have reached the age of 16/18 prior to October 1st of the current season.
